HOW WE WORK
Flat structure. Loud ideas.
We don’t believe in hierarchy for the sake of it. Titles exist so clients know who to email. Inside the studio, anyone can pitch, challenge or build on an idea.
Freedom comes with trust. We give people the space to explore, experiment and occasionally go completely off-script, because that’s usually where the magic is. And when something doesn’t land? We learn, laugh and go again.
This culture isn’t an accident. We protect it on purpose, because it’s what keeps the work fresh and the people happy.
What we actually believe.
Curiosity over certainty. We ask “what if?” a lot. Usually it pays off. Sometimes it doesn’t, and that’s fine too.
Craft matters. The kerning, the comma, the half-second of animation. We care about the details because clients notice and so do we.
Generosity wins. Share what you know, credit others loudly and jump in when a teammate is drowning in revisions.
Fun is not optional. If we’re not enjoying it, the work shows. So we make sure we are.

Every Nonsense team member gets regular one-to-ones, clear goals and a mentor who’s been where you are. You’ll learn on live briefs, in crits, in workshops and over [coffee / boba / beers] with people who genuinely want you to succeed.

And development doesn’t stop when you get good. Senior folks keep learning too, with a focus shifting to leading teams, owning client relationships and shaping the agency’s direction.

We give feedback early, clearly and with kindness. Great work gets celebrated in front of everyone. When something needs to change, we talk about what happened, what we learned and what we’ll try next.

A WEEK AT NONSENSE
No two weeks look the same, and that’s the fun.
Monday kicks off with a team huddle: what’s on, who needs a hand and what we’re excited about.
Midweek is heads-down making: concepts, campaigns, sites, shoots, and plenty of “come look at this.”
Crits and reviews happen throughout, so ideas get sharper before they ever reach a client.
Friday we wind down together with [team lunch / show-and-tell / studio drinks], a chance to share wins, show off side projects and reset for next week.
The balance is deliberate: make, share, improve, celebrate. Repeat.

Team days out
Regularly, we down tools and do something together, from [escape rooms / bowling / beach days / cooking classes] to whatever chaos the social committee dreams up next.
